Peering into the Future Through a Business Lens

I’ve been in the corporate world for about 15+ years. 

Mainstream says “Private” #companies (those not on the #stockmarket) are in for a reckoning. This is true in some cases. Public companies (those much larger and publicly traded) typically can meet #consumers much cheaper on goods and services by the sheer volume of #business they do. Thats their competitive advantage along with their Intellectual Property they’ve built or garnered through M&A (Mergers & Acquisitions). 

The market is on a downturn. People will most Likely move #stocks to #cash to preserve wealth (even though cash itself is bleeding via #inflation). Their prices will most likely rise and #service will get crappier because they’re doing more with less. The market is fat and that fat will be trimmed. Btw, even public Companies I foresee ramping up M&A to survive or gobble #competition. So, back to the little guy or girl. The Private Businesses, our Mom and Pop Shops, the #SMB (small, medium sized businesses) world that supports their local communities, city’s. 

They have an OPPORTUNITY amongst this grim outlook. 

1. Capitalize on Service. They are in the consumers backyard and can meet them quicker as the large corporations get squeezed. 

2. They can run lean with fewer resources. Applications (software) have been developed that meet this market and can leverage… automation, engagement, management, and more. 

3. #Blockchain / #Bitcoin / #Web3.  Middle-men (parties in between every industries supply or service chain that take a cut and add to cost) are going to be disrupted. The invention of smart contracts is revolutionary IMO and #Applications on the blockchain are being developed at record pace.

 This is why the Large Corporations are leveraging every resource they have to hinder the pace. Or, in some cases joining in when they can control. *Cough-cough* #Ethereum. With, #Eth moving to proof of stake they Can now leverage their weight to tweak the chain in their favor. BUT, the Ace in the pocket….@Stacks. Stacks is building #smartcontracts (#apps #nfts) on top of #Bitcoin - the most #decentralized and secure chain there is. This anchor leverages #BTC s security, trust, and, transparency. 

Lastly, take away what you will from this. These are just my thoughts. I don’t know if I’m right or wrong. I’m always learning. But, with what I’ve learned over the years and now - this is what I see in the present. People will go when their is #Freedom and #Trust. Those that innovate, Survive & Grow. Those that stay stagnant may not make it or it’ll be extremely rough. Find a nerd you trust, innovate, and stay ahead of the game.
